Terms of use

These terms are the agreement between you and AtADollar, an independent product made in the USA. By using an AtADollar product you agree to them.
Your account
- One account works for every AtADollar product. You sign in with a link sent to your email, so anyone who can read your email can sign in. Keep your email account safe.
- You can add one recovery email: a second address you control. It counts only after you confirm it from the link we send to it. We tell your main email whenever it is added, confirmed, changed or removed.
- If you lose your main email, you can recover the account with your recovery email. We tell your main email first, and wait 72 hours so the request can be cancelled. Then a sign-in link goes to the recovery email, and it becomes your main email.
- If you lose your email and have no recovery email, nobody can give you the account back, not even us. We can only send your unused balance back to the card you paid with.
Price and payment
- Each product costs $1 a month, in US dollars.
- You pay from a prepaid wallet. You can add $12, $24 or $60 at a time, and the money can pay for any product. Payments are by card, through Stripe.
- Each product starts with a 14-day free trial, once per product per account. No card is needed for the trial. Starting the trial is your agreement to pay $1 a month from your wallet after it ends, until you cancel.
- Each product renews every month on its own date, from your wallet.
- If your wallet is empty when a paid month ends, the product keeps working for 7 more days. If you do not top up by then, it pauses. If your wallet is empty when a trial ends, the product pauses at once.
- Resuming a paused or cancelled product takes $1 from your wallet, and a new month starts that day.
Payment limits
These limits protect every customer from stolen cards and misuse:
- A wallet holds at most $120.
- You can top up at most 3 times in 24 hours, and open the payment form at most 5 times in one hour.
- An account can pay with at most 2 different cards in 30 days.
- A card that was used for a chargeback cannot be used in any account.
If a card that may not be used has already paid, we send that payment straight back to it.
Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel a product at any time. It keeps working until the end of the month you paid for, or until the end of its trial, and nothing more is charged. Your unused wallet balance can be refunded at any time. See Refunds.
Your data when a product stops
When a product is paused or cancelled, we keep its data for at least 12 months after its last paid day, or the last day of its trial. We email you 30 days before it is deleted. If you resume the product before then, your data is still there. If you resume it after, the product starts empty.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account yourself, from your account page. Your unused balance goes back to the cards you paid with, every product stops and deletes your data, and your email is removed. We keep payment records only as long as the law requires. This cannot be undone.
Limits
Each product has published limits so that it can stay at one dollar. Your account page shows how much of each limit you used this month, and we email you at 70% and 90% of a limit. If you stay over a limit, you have 30 days to fix it before the product slows down or stops adding new things. We never take your published pages offline for going over a limit.
Chargebacks
If you ask your bank to take back a payment (a chargeback) instead of asking us for a refund, we close the account. The disputed amount leaves your wallet, every product stops, and the card is blocked for every AtADollar account. The rest of your balance goes back to your other cards. Emails
We only email you about your account and your money: sign-in links, trials ending, payments, refunds, limits, and your data. We send no marketing.
Your content
What you put into a product is yours. You let us store it and show it only to run the product for you.
What you may not do
Do not use AtADollar for anything illegal, for spam, for phishing or malware, or to harm other people. We may pause or close an account that does. If we close your account for this, we refund your unused balance.
If a product closes
If we ever close a product, we will tell you by email before it closes and give you a way to take your data with you. Your unused balance stays refundable.
No guarantees
We work to keep every product running, but they are provided as they are, without a promise that they will never fail. Where the law allows, our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we will email you before the change starts.

These terms follow the laws of the United States.
