AtADollar is an independent product made in the USA. This page says what we keep about you and why. We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.
What we keep
- Your email address, to sign you in and to send you messages about your account and payments. We send no marketing.
- Your recovery email, if you add one: only to help you back in if you lose your main email, and to tell you about changes to it.
- Your wallet history: top-ups, monthly charges and refunds.
- How much you use each product each month, such as the number of links or page visits, to show it to you against the product's limits.
- What you put into a product, to run that product for you.
- A history of changes to your account, such as sign-ins, trials, cancellations and refunds, with the IP address for sign-ins and recovery requests, to keep your account safe and answer your questions. We delete these IP addresses after 13 months.
- Basic technical logs, such as IP addresses and times, to keep the service safe and fix errors.
Your card
Card payments are handled by Stripe. You type your card into Stripe's form, and we never see or store your card number. Stripe tells us a few things about the card, and we keep them:
- its brand and last 4 digits, so we can tell you which card a refund goes back to;
- a fingerprint of the card, which identifies it without revealing its number, to apply the payment limits and to block a card used for a chargeback;
- the receipt number, so we can find your payment if you write to us.
Who else handles your data
We use a few companies to run AtADollar. They handle your data only to do that work for us.
- Stripe, for payments
- Microsoft Azure, for servers and databases
- Cloudflare, for the network and for published pages
- Amazon Web Services, for sending email
Cookies
The account site uses only the cookies it needs to work: one keeps you signed in, and a few short ones protect its forms and remember where you came from. The top-up page shows Stripe's payment form, which sets Stripe's own cookies to prevent fraud. This home page uses no cookies and no tracking.
Deleting your data
- You can delete your account yourself, from your account page. Your unused balance goes back to your cards, every product deletes what you put into it, and your email addresses are removed.
- When a product is paused or cancelled, we keep its data for at least 12 months after its last paid (or trial) day, and email you 30 days before it is deleted.
- We keep payment records, such as your wallet history, payments and refunds, only as long as the law requires, without your email.
